It is located in the Rural Zone of the Imperial City of Petropolis, in the hills of Rio de Janeiro. It was inspired in the southern region of France for its hospitality and refined cookery.
In 1973, Maria Lucia and Joaquim Nabuco organized Provence Ervas Finas, which became the major Herb Farm in Brazil, supplying culinary herbs to all best restaurants in Rio de Janeiro. As it was the unique farm in Brazil specialized in culinary herbs it attracted interest of many people from all over the Country.
Provence herb farm is prepared to accommodate visitors who would like to stay overnight or longer time and enjoy meals in a charming Restaurant, with food finely cooked with fresh herbs, harvest as ordered, and stay in charming country cottages, surrounded by scented herbs.
